Who is Bubba?
Bubba’s Seafood House was established in 1997 and has withstood all the hurricanes the Gulf of Mexico could send our way including the category 4 Hurricane Ivan in 2004 and Hurricane Katrina in 2005. But I am getting ahead of myself… “Who is Bubba?” you ask???
Bubba is a tried a true Gulf Coast fisherman just like his Daddy. He has wrangled Grouper off the shores of Orange Beach big enough to feed 25 locals, reeled in Mahi Mahi so delicious words can’t describe and hauled in so many Cobia in the winter to feed us straight through to spring break. Momma Queenie, that’s Bubba’s momma, she taught him how to cook it all up to perfection including her pride and joy, Fried Pickles. We absolutely recommend starting off with these delicious tidbits!
Some years and many sunsets later, Bubba now spends most of his time on the Gulf fishing for relaxation and enjoying the beautiful sunshine our Gulf Coast offers on a daily basis. However, on occasion he will breeze through the kitchen to ensure Momma’s recipes are being followed and pull up a stool and share a fish tale with the kiddos on hand. So…be sure to come back and see us again…

About Bubba’s Seafood House and Oyster Bar
Welcome to the beach and to Bubba’s Seafood House! We’ve been an Orange Beach favorite with locals and tourists alike since we opened in 1997. Just recently, we remodeled everyone’s favorite hangout and made it even better. We enclosed our front porch, built another bar area, set up the Famous Bushwhacker Bar, and built a 40-foot lighthouse pass-through on the way outdoors. Plus, we built the biggest sandbox on the island for all the kiddos to enjoy. You’ve gotta come check us out.
Bubba’s Seafood House offers grilled, blackened, steamed or fried menu items. Our seafood platters boast delicious combinations to please any palate.
